Artwork from previous month, created as a protest and criticism to the political unrest in my country, Indonesia, when an event about history discussion and art performance were accused for being a left-wing movement and attempted to revive Communism in Indonesia, it hurts me a lot as a history enthusiast and artist as well. It depicts a girl with her mouth plastered with duct tape, symbol of repression of speech freedom and expression by the government.
